It was such a pleasure to work with this customer to reimagine her dining furniture to match her kitchen renovation. I worked with them to tailor the look of the furniture to their interior design plans and we finished with this look. The base colour is Manatee Grey, however to preserve the grain effect of the wood I used a mixture of Up In Smoke and White Magic Voodoo Gel stains. I did feel guilty as I sanded down the 20 year old dining table as I removed bits of homework and other history that had been etched into its surface, however the finished effect looks great and will ensure that these family owned pieces of furniture have another life, just what Claire's Furniture revival is all about.
