I have painted the top with Fusion Mineral Paint, Coal Black. The paper on the interior is a unique print from USA. I did this to ensure that the print size was correct for the inset, which reflects in the mirror to give a deeper effect, making the reveal of the drink area behind more of a surprise.
I have installed rails for wine glasses or champagne flutes leaving room for bottles.
